La disparition soudaine d'un cher ami suscite J.J. Macfield va chercher son amie sur la curieuse île des souvenirs.
Vous ne pouvez pas mourir sur cette île cauchemardesque, même si vous êtes sérieusement blessé. Peu importe
combien de fois que J.J. est ramené des griffes de la mort, elle la traîne
corps mutilé plus profondément dans les bois.
Elle risque la souffrance d'avoir les bras et les jambes arrachés, le cou cassé, l'immolation… tout cela pour retrouver son amie.
J.J. sacrifie son propre corps et sa vie dans ce voyage pour qu'elle puisse découvrir les réponses à ses questions: Pourquoi mon amie est-elle partie? Quel est ce sentiment inconfortable?
