Mokoko X envisage de ressusciter l'âme du genre arcade tout en y ajoutant une touche de modernité.
Il y a 32 niveaux dans Mokoko X ; chaque niveau contient ses propres boss et larbins. L'objectif primordial du jeu consiste à assister les filles face aux boss bizarres. Il faut parfois passer le niveau d'un jeu sur cellulaire, parfois assainir une cuisine envahie d'insectes.

Jouabilité
Lorsque vous débutez un niveau, vous devez conquérir une grosse partie de la zone de départ. Pendant que vous êtes dans votre domaine, vous êtes préservé des ennemis jusqu'à ce que votre bouclier s'épuise. Vous vous emparez de nouvelles zones en sortant des régions pacifiées. Sortir, cependant, désactive votre bouclier et vous expose à tous les dangers. Votre bouclier s'affaiblit continuellement. Si vous ne capturez pas régulièrement du territoire, votre bouclier brûlera et vous ne serez plus en sécurité nulle part.
Il y a 3 niveaux de difficulté dans le jeu, influençant les ennemis, votre bouclier, et le pourcentage de zones conquises pour arracher la victoire.

Eh bien, Mokoko X répond à toutes ces questions et davantage!

Voici quelques missions

- Filez un coup de main à Iren, résolvez son problème d'arachnophobie puis affrontez l'imaginaire Mr.Fyodorov.
- Protégez la maison de Issa contre le pillage des pirates fantômes coincés dans les ancres. Ils n'étaient pas le fléau des Sept Mers - l'équipage fut tué au cours de sa première bataille navale.
- Toru souhaitait devenir un moustique afin d’embêter les gens. Une sorcière du coin l'entendit et le transforma en insecte suceur de sang. Maintenant, il harasse chaque nuit son voisinage.

Combats contre des ennemis étranges...
